Scandal of MPs exploiting staff

In this week's Investigators programme Donal MacIntyre exposes the fact that MPs have been employing Interns in their offices without paying them any salary. Some have been breaking the law by paying no salary, or paying less than the minimum wage.

So not only have some MPs been paying their wives generous salaries for doing ill-defined jobs, they have been exploiting staff who do the work and get no pay at all.

I note that since I drew attention to the fact that Shrewsbury MP Daniel Kawczynski was paying his wife a very generous salary he has dispensed with her services. I wonder if he would now like to comment on the exploitation of unpaid staff.
