Lib Dem Leadership Hustings

Following the resignation of Nick Clegg, the Liberal Democrats are looking to elect a new leader from among their current 8 MPs. Nominations for the post close on Wednesday 3rd June. You have to be a member by the same date to allow you to vote in the leadership election.

So far, two candidates are standing - Norman Lamb, MP for North Norfolk and Tim Farron, MP for Westmoreland and Lonsdale.

West Midlands Liberal Democrats have arranged a hustings meeting with the leadership candidates on Friday 3rd July, at 7pm at Stratford School, Stratford-upon-Avon. Shrewsbury & Atcham Liberal Democrats will be travelling as a group to ensure local members get to see and hear the candidates and are able to put their questions to them if they wish.
