Coffee Morning 21st February 2009

Shrewsbury and Atcham Liberal Democrats raised £80 at a coffee morning on Saturday.

Dr Charles West welcomed the contribution to funds. "The Liberal Democrats don't have large sponsors like the other two political parties," he said, "but we have some keen and hard-working members and supporters. Barack Obama has shown that it is possible to fund a major campaign much of it coming in small contributions from ordinary people. We need to show what can be done here in Shrewsbury."
